The Portland Trail Blazer were in control the whole game but with just over 2 seconds left Corey Brewer with a pass from James Harden tied the game at 99 a piece; hitting a 3-pointer on the run. The game would end up going to OT & eventually the Trail Blazers losing 108-103. The Blazers had hopes of breaking their six game losing streak, instead it only extended to seven games.
Damian Lillard ended his night scoring 23 points; with CJ McCollum adding 19 himself.
Houston rallied together just hours after head coach Kevin McHale was fired. Reports are the GM Danny Ainge has already offered McHale a front office position with the Boston Celtics.
For the Blazer fans out there, this was a very hard loss to swallow. Hopefully some home cooking will be good for the Blazers when they return to the Moda Center on Friday to face the Los Angeles Clippers.
