adidas unveiled the 2015 U.S. Army All-American Bowl uniforms – featuring the new Primeknit TECHFIT uniform system. The nation’s top high school football players will debut adidas’ new uniform on Saturday January 3, 2015 at 1:00pm ET on NBC.
The updated look for this year’s U.S. Army All-American Bowl features jerseys with laser-cut metallic, serrated numbers for extra stretch and breathability in all conditions. The front of the jersey has a military inspired patch customized with each player’s name, and details inside the back neck indicate that it will be worn exclusively in the 2015 U.S. Army All-American Bowl. An oversized adidas logo on the left leg highlights the pants.
Made with a cutting-edge, proprietary yarn blend that increases durability and abrasion resistance, Primeknit is the newest generation of the adidas TECHFIT football uniform system. Primeknit keeps players cool and increases range of motion, giving athletes an unrivaled level of comfort and allowing them to perform at their highest levels. The jersey’s redesigned padlock system improves tension over the shoulder pads.
The helmets, customized with each player’s name, have blacked-out facemasks that decrease glare and allow players to more accurately track the ball. Representing All-American speed and quickness, the base layer features an American flag on the chest and shock energy graphics on the sleeves. The adizero glove’s palm is highlighted by GripTack, an unparalleled technology that stays tacky in any weather and surface condition. The West team will wear yellow and the East team will be in black. Both squads will debut special edition U.S. Army All-American Bowl mantraflage colorways of adidas’ adizero 5-Star 4.0 and FREAK cleats..
