Having used many different Leatherman products over the years, they are one of the more reputable brands when it comes to efficient and safe multi-tool products. Ease of Use
One thing that’s never going to change about the OHT is the learning curve – there’s simply so much on there that it can be hard to remember what goes where. One of my main gripes with the amount of tools is the various areas it could, in time, allow debris to build up in. this means that although you are getting a lot of tools to access, it can take a while to work them all out and you’ll need to take good care of your OHT – it will get dirty fast with so many little holes.
This is especially confusing when you consider that it’s made for extreme weather conditions, so it’s meant to be able to take large build-ups of things like sand and other debris inside – but, with a little bit of care and attention this can certainly do the trick.
It’s quite easy to use after bedding it in a little, and the ease of which you can open and close the tool completely is very handy.
Usefulness

What is lacks in ease of use, it makes up for in precision and variety. This is a truly balanced tool and having one alongside you for work or hobby reasons can save you carrying a much larger tool kit – it’s just about everything you need in one!

This heavy duty multi-tool is great for anybody in a serious environment, and are light enough that they can be carried around without too much excess weight added on. Overall, if you are looking for a solid alternative to many of the less inspiring multi-tool choices out there, few offer you as much as this selection.
It’s got variety, reliability and it’s very effective once you get used to it – get over the learning curve and you have a product well worth the price..
