If you’ve been in the market for a pair of Bluetooth headphones and haven’t decided on any yet…you have to try the new August EP650 Bluetooth Wireless Headphones!
First things First
First thing you notice is how the headphones seem very high quality. There is ample cushion and is very soft and very comfortable on my ears while even the clicks to lengthen the band is very smooth and not jerky and can fold away when traveling. It also has a cushion on the band for added comfort when resting on your head and rests nicely on my head.
As far as the contents included in the box, there was a user manual, aux cable, and although there was a manual included, I did not need it to get the headphones going as the syncing process with my iPhone was pretty straightforward. Push and hold one button on the headphones until you see a blinking light and you’d be able see it connected on your phone. You can also control incoming calls as well as controlling the music with the 5 button square that is relatively easy to use. You can play, pause, fast forward, rewind, change songs and answer/hang up incoming and outgoing calls.
Bluetooth at its Finest
It also came with a wire that is attachable if you don’t want to use it as a Bluetooth headphone, a very nice touch in my opinion. As for the sound quality, it is Bluetooth 4.0 so it is clean and transfers the music as well as it does in my car’s Bluetooth while featuring 10 hours of use time which for me is enough for 2 days worth of use without a charge.
The treble was pretty sharp while the mids were audible and the bass more than sufficient. I initially strayed away from the beats brand because it was too bass heavy and more suited for more hip hop bass rich songs. The bass on these were more than adequate for my listening preference and filled the ear piece nicely. Listening to rock music on this was good as the treble from guitar sounds were sharp enough without stinging your eardrums and the mids were full enough for me to hear new sounds ever since switching to these headphones from my iPhone earphones I’ve been using.
